It looks like a more up to date version than mine too o.o
(But then I've been using the same one for over a year)
now I can have pmxe in English as well as pmde and I don't have to go through tabs one by one yaay

I have Windows8.1 and when I try to open the program it opens a lot of error windows about missing dll, than the program opens. Is it normal? xD

I think you might be missing the DirectX 9.0 libraries.

Anyway, the missing dll are CSSScript.dll,PluginLauncher.dll,Autobackup.dll,BJControl.dll,BodyGroup.dll,BodyJointSector.dll,ColorChange.dll, Grips.dll, IKMarkerX.dll, ImagImport.dll, ImportObj.dll, ListInsert.dll, MaterialAphaMorph.dll, PositionFit.dll, PositionOffset.dll,SizChamge.dll, ToBothFace.dll, ViewStateStave.dll, CSScript.dll and much more that i have no time to write now..
Β I can't give you a screenshot because they pop up one by one (I mean, when I close the first the second appears, and so on). Anyway I can give you one or two of them ^_^
Also that's strange because i don't have those problems with PMD Editor.
Anyway if you don't know how to fix it it's ok, because after I close all the error messages PMX editor opens normally and everything works fine

Ah then that means you did not "unblock" those .dll files. Β Make sure all binary files (.exe/.dll) are "unblocked".
Also, make sure you have DirectX 9 installed (specifically 9 - the latest may not work).

I unblocked everything but it won't open for me :c My computer just shows the loading circle and then nothing happens...Did I miss something? Also..what's the difference between pmd and pmx? I have pmd and the picture looks just like pmd..?

Sounds like you're missing some libraries.
Install the latest .NET Framework and DirectX 9 libraries.
PMX files can support more polygons and generally have more features (the PMX editor supplies more features than PMD).

Ah. Β I believe this is a Windows 8 issue.
Try deleting theΒ d3dcompiler_43.dll file, and reinstall direct x 9.
Or just stick with Windows 7. Β

Well I have the editor on my computer but now I can't seem to run it. T_T I've been trying to figure it out. I clicked the install button, and I keep clicking the Pmx Editor and I see the blue ring saying its loading, but then stops and nothing happens. What do I do?
