Thank you so much for this tutorial! I sort of found it halfway through this image, so I wasn't able to utilize it to its full awesomeness, but I will definitely use this technique from the start for my next my mane/forelock.

Instant favorite. I mean, wow. This is such a fantastic tutorial, easy to follow and very much easy to read. Í can't thank you enough, the mane is so hard for me to do and this really gives me the know how to do it! Thanks so much, it's freaking epic! XD

that's very helpful! But how can I draw without draw over the lines? I always draw over the lines in my pictures. I sthere a trick to not draw over it?

In the second step, it shows you how to get your layers right so you don't draw over your lines! Click and drag on the layer to move it underneath the lines layer.

WOW! I never thought about the mane...well then again I don't know the first thing about shading and shadowing but this has definitly helped me...or will. I'm totally gonna use this

uh, it depends really! I think I spent about 7 hours on it, but that includes breaks and stuff! I usually spend an entire day on one, its my way of relaxing!
