"Don't bother welcoming me, Milady," Avora says wryly, "and I'll see to the door myself." Abruptly the wand in her grip ceases its warm smoldering, its power activated and gathering for a concussive release. Pointing at the latch on the iron gate, the Wizardess let's go of the malice within her, channeled by the wand to spill meteorically into the sorcerous power locked within the portal.

Here's the 7th page of the Twisted Plot revision. My plan has been to finish the Rats 2 publication next (just a few bonus pages at this point), then finish Bookbinding, then return to Twisted Plot in force and do Web of Betrayal on the weekends. My hope is to get far enough into Twisted Plot by the end of this year that I can publish the first part of it in the coming January - March of 2015. We'll see how that goes.
Enjoy!
Note: Twisted Plot and Demon's Due are a work of fantasy and fiction. The artist/creator in no way condones this kind of treatment toward any woman or man, by living person, gremlin, plant, assassin, ratman, viscous fluid, programmed device, animated home furnishings, or otherworldly spiritual beings. Furthermore, the artist opposes the marginalizing and restriction of women in general by any institution, political and/or religious, including those which have individual women amongst their membership touting/promoting their own happiness within that institution as evidence that ALL women should feel the same way. This includes the religion I was raised in and which I have utterly discarded from my life over this and other issues.

There's an error on her top, there, as the beads are on top of her cloak and I'm pretty sure they're supposed to tuck up underneath it.

"And in entertainment news, Hollywood has released concept sketches ofΒ a reimagining of the popular "Harry Potter" franchise, this time targeting a more mature audience with exploration of themes too adult for the previous films."
((Sorry... I couldn't resist.))

It's great to see the context of this image, after seeing it sit on your board for so long. I hope she blasts the gate to bits.

This is my favorite picture of Avora so far. It's the first to really show off her expression beyond "stoic caution".

Thank you! I'm looking forward to drawing that sequence, including the "victory dance in the end-zone," as it were.

Loving the smirk here: Avora really is rocking that outfit (what little there is of it!) - oh and can't wait for the next part of Rats to be published. :-D

Thank you! I'm working on Rats 2 right now, actually. I've got 2 of the 5 bonus images done, which is why I'm drawing but not posting currently. Once I'm done with them, it'll be back to Bookbinding's completion, though.

Thank you! As much as I enjoy the more panicked expressions, I sure do enjoy drawing the satisfaction ones as well. I'm glad you like it.

"Alright folks, let's take it from the coda. French horns, watch the molto allegretto, you're not trying to make the wind-section go deaf. 2nd violins, it's stringendo, not "race the person next to you to see who can finish the measure first", got that? Percussion: see this outfit I'm wearing? I changed into it so that maybe you'll watch me for your cues already! Ok everyone, Tchaikovsky really doesn't have to be this hard. Let's get this right, or I swear, we won't use the cannons for the 1812, we'll use this. Aaand one, two, three...
