The woman straightens her frame within the black cape, raising her hands to pensively caress the length of magical weaponry held in her grasp. “This will be my gift to you,” she says. “I will show you what such a shadowy mural would contain. I had to search long to find the means to do so, but it ultimately took an inward journey that I wouldn’t have had the will to make if not for the… event that occurred here ten years ago. Thanks to you and your ‘hired hand,’ what was most precious at the time was torn forever from me, and so giving up more of what I still possessed became much the easier.

“Which brings me to the dark corruption of my life-giving womb, tearing the energy from its issue and giving place for the wizardry I wield. The life-taking sorcery of men is such a dark shadow to that of women, isn't it? Women like you? But ironically here I’ve found a long lost piece of your family legacy from centuries ago, and now the darkness inside me provides the means to wield it in your interest.”

Ditto my last comment about how Avora's model proved to be quite the expressive actress in the photos she provided. This one was another gem to draw.
