"In hindsight," she continues, "if the nobility of Dernhem had paid more attention to this garden's design and construction, perhaps certain... tragedies could have been avoided." The grin fades from her face. "But it has been a long ten years (**I think that's how long it's been. -Jeff**), with a lot of tragedies to mark the passing of each, and it would be a mistake to lay all that tragedy at your door, Milady. Lord Anjerome's passing, both untimely and mysterious, is certainly a part of it. The disintegration of your own family's power base, undoubtedly. The utter ruin of my own life... yes, that one is definitely a part of it."
"But, as Uncle Anjer was fond of saying, 'When looking at events of the past, it is oft difficult to distinguish tragedy from fortune.'" She nods to herself. "Perhaps we can find both in this, Milady."

This is probably my favorite of the Avora faces thus far.
Enjoy!
Note: Twisted Plot and Demon's Due are a work of fantasy and fiction. The artist/creator in no way condones this kind of treatment toward any woman or man, by living person, gremlin, plant, assassin, ratman, viscous fluid, programmed device, animated home furnishings, or otherworldly spiritual beings. Furthermore, the artist opposes the marginalizing and restriction of women in general by any institution, political and/or religious, including those which have individual women amongst their membership touting/promoting their own happiness within that institution as evidence that ALL women should feel the same way. This includes the religion I was raised in and which I have utterly discarded from my life over this and other issues.

New Avora is certainly easy on the eyes.
Not every crappy thing that's happened over the last 10 years has been your fault, that's certainly big of Avora to admit. The saying "When you seek vengeance, first dig two graves" always comes to mind when contemplating Avora's story. Although given the nature of the Demon's Due story instead of 'dig two graves' it should perhaps be 'bring 2 sets of chains'.
Looking forward to seeing the new Avora run into trouble.

I like this version of Avora (though the smug version was adorable) - being somewhat artistically challenged I can see nothing wrong with hair/eyes, though I do look forward to her losing that cape!

Hmmmmm, if I might throw myself onto the railroad tracks...I feel like her eyes are two different shapes in this picture. Maybe it's just the hair...

Something very classic about her features. Nicely done! Love the eyes best of all.

I do! Her features in this one remind me of Katie Cassidy's character from Arrow, which is not at all a bad thing!

What about the hair? Wrong style? Wrong part? What? And, what in the world would I hate you for?!

The part sort of looks like you cloned the same section and stacked it three times to pump up the volume... in my humble, non-artistic, unsolicited opinion.

Ha! Well, I actually drew that and then tried to work it in a similar way--no digital cloning was used at all. I'll see if I can mix it up, though. Thanks!
