Your text nearly made me cry... Looking at the drawing AFTER reading it... just moves me. Really, really wonderful done and... as I said, the text just BELONGS to the picture, 'cause it makes it perfect.

*grin* Thank you, KittyTiuri. I usually come up with a few paragraphs worth of a backstory for the characters I'm drawing, especially for the artwork that takes so long to finish. Glad it fits.

Well. Now you've left me almost in tears. Oh my god, this is so sad and just so right and so.... aaah I don't know it's just... Oh dear, I'm rambling away with no purpose but this picture is amazingly moving. Harry looks so sad in there... Now, that's just *the* idea for a fic. Only I hope it's not going to be written ever, because I would have so much of an emotional all-time low after reading it...

Oh, don't cry! I hoped that it wasn't that morbid of a tale. The ending for this one seemed ironic somehow. Besides, I always wanted to know how Harry the ghost would look like. I'd be interested to read a fic like that.

Well it is ironic, don't get me wrong, I appreciat ths part of the pic, too - but I'm always inclined to see the tragic side of things
I've read a Fic with Snape as a statue (a well known H/D, but I don't remember the name) and it was cool and weird and sad at the same time. I suppose a Fic with portrait!Snape and ghost!Harry would also have this mixed feeling in it.

Oh, I know that fic! It's Resonant's Transfigurations, if I remember correctly. Has great writing and plot development and an awesome, haunting prequel about Snape's death. I illustrated it awhile ago -- the scene with Snape statue in fact. The drawing should be somewhere around my gallery, the one with all the envelopes around the border.
I agree about the mixed feelings. Thank you for comparing my work to Resonant's. It's an honor.

Oh yes - I loved the prequel, too - it was the first and only SS/NL I've ever read and liked. You illustrated this scene? I must have a look at it, didn't have the time yet. Thanks for th hint

*grin* I'm glad that the story seemed realistic. The painting started off as a random sketch and I only finished it because the story idea seemed so ironic and amusing, I just had to make an illustration for it. Normal people illustrate stories; I write them to match my own artwork.
