Here she is! I'm amazed at how quickly watercoloring can take. Overall she took me about 7 hours between two-three days. It's my first watercolor painting and I couldn't be happier.Unfortunately, the scanner I was offered to use blurred the tips of her wings pretty bad- so I tried my best to edit that in photoshop.
Either way. I love her! I'm considering what to do for my next one since I enjoy this medium a ton now.

It has been so far, thanks. I enjoy how semi-easily they can blend. Only annoyance is many times I'll get some paint on my brush and when put to paper will be completely diluted. Grr. Thank you!

Gorgeous work! The anatomy, first off, is just beautiful. I love the pose, so elegant and graceful. And your color choices and contrasts are great! I really like the way those wings turned out. For a first time with new medium, this looks absolutely spectacular!

Haha, thanks. Surprisingly a friend of mine recently explained how she showed my work to someone and they complained that I "put too much detail in my images"... I laughed.

Haha I don't think you put too much detail in. mainly most the detail is added to the main subject of the picture, with enough in the background that will enhance the main subject not detract the focus away from it :3
