Basic Manga Studio Tutorial
I made this for because I want to see how she tones 8D haha
I'm sure there are other ways of doing the things I do and some may be easier 8D;; I'm not a master at Manga Studio, but I do have a basic understanding of how it works.
I also know there are other tutorials out there.
Some ways of teaching works better for different people... hopefully this one will help somebody that other tutorials couldn't help... >.<;
I've found that some people think it's the easiest program ever, while others look at it and give up... so I hope this helps someone out there.
This is the first tutorial I've made... so I apologize if it looks messy, or if it's way too big @_@
I know... I should've made 2... but I'd rather just create one big one >.>;; Sorry about that.... lol.
And, just so you know... this will eventually be replaced by a nicer-looking version in the very near future

I have no idea how to work with manga studio so if I happen to get it I'll use this for sure XD as it's really detailed...
and I don't know much about dpi...mine is usually at 300...is that too low? =O

if you want to make prints or publish anything, well, they say the higher it is the better.
if it's low, it'll have to be a really small printed image because if you try to make a big print with a low dpi, a lot of quality will be lost.
300 is okay... some places want 600 though. i think it just depends on the size you're going for in a print.
if you're not planning on making prints here on DA or anything, it doesn't matter too much

Hmmm.....so is there any difference if you start in like...40 dpi and when you're finished you switch to 600? does it change anything on the monitor at all?

you could probably try by printing a small image with horrible dpi and then raising it and printing it again to see if it does anything... i'm curious now so i think i'll do that XD

It looks great, bad I dun have manga studio. If I'm drawing some panels I do with pen and ink ^^
even if I have to black out big areas I use ink ^^
