I was wondering, though, may I make a replica of your tutorials for those who GIMP? Not everyone has photoshop, and I happen to know my way around GIMP so well, that I can replicate everything rather easily with it.

Lol! I know what you mean. I've used Photoshop a number of times myself, I just prefer GIMP (a lot simpler. XD) But I can imagine the amount of peeps asking! X3 I'll definitely link your deviation for others as well. ^_^

Did you ever do this in Gimp? I don't prefer Gimp but alas it is free so I use it. I think I did it correctly but I'm curious if there's a better way than I did.

Yes, I did this in Gimp and I also created this tutorial in Gimp. X3
There’s a faster way, but it’s in Photoshop. I haven’t come across a faster method in Gimp yet, and I’ve been using Gimp for years.

I don't really understand what you did in the fourth step, can you please explain? I use Krita so I can't do the shortcut.

It's Clipping Mask, that helps me put everything on the Character Copy layer INSIDE the Character layer, as you can see everything of the Character Copy layer that outside of the Character layer was cutoff/hidden.
I do a little research about Krita and they say that there's no Clipping Mask or smilar feature in Krita, in this case you can just do it manually by taking Character layer selection and delete/earse everything outside of it of Character Copy layer.

mình nghĩ khúc kéo light sang ngang thì xài Filter > Blur > Motion Blur sẽ nhanh hơn

Motion blur hông có ra đc tương tự đâu bạn ây
Với lại mình viết TUT để các bạn dùng phần mềm khác cũng có thể làm đc, nên mình thường hạn chế dùng mấy công cụ chỉ photoshop mới có
