Description Flipping through my sketchbook this evening, I stumbled across this . So I decided to turn it into a finished piece. I also took a few photos of the process, so I might make a tutorial out of this later.

Watercolour, coloured pencil, dry pastel on Crescent 310 Cold Press Illustration board. 3 hours total.

RIPPER does how ever like how, me thinks around the neck area, the bristles and thickness give off this wild animal feel! Fierce! One of the words that come to mind.

I think the blood could be darker and more saturated in colour. I like how you used the dry pastel to accent the shadows. Have you tried using guache over watercolor for opaque highlights? The different mediums work well together. The guache is great for bold strong colour.
