OC with *Wereh-dot . This is my half of the piece. He's uploading his half separately.Yeah, Myrmidon got his outfit pimped out. I had a whale of a time doing the car without any refs.
EDIT: Moved to Scraps, cause quite frankly, it's a scrap.

I've debated about commenting on this for a few days now, and just reading through the comments, I feel I really must say something.
I'm sorry, but I just don't see what everyone likes about this deviation. It's far, far below your normal standard.
The first thing I noticed was the colouring. The shading has absolutely no depth to it whatsoever. If it wasn't for the shadows in his armpit, I wouldn't even have noticed you'd made an attempt to shade it. It needs more contrast.
Second, I know it's your style, but you gotta ditch the sketchy lines when you go to colour something. It doesn't look tidy at all, and instead of coming across as a style, it comes across as lazy and amateurish.
Thirdly, that car is in no way acceptable even without a reference. You should know that cars have indicator lights, that the front of a car's body extends out past it's front wheels. The perspective on the car looks like a second thought - almost as if you didn't quite know how to fill the shape and decided to use just enough perspective to fill it. Cars have rear view side mirrors, and the frame around the windscreen is never that narrow.
You didn't attempt to texture the car by putting reflections on the car either, which seriously detracts from the "bling" feel you were going for.
Also, why couldn't you use a car reference photo? Surely it's a quick 2 minute Google search away to pull up some pictures of cars for you to use as reference for this picture.
Myrmidon's shoulders are far too narrow. As you've drawn him now, his arms would never hang perfectly vertical, and if you've ever seen body building pics, no matter how many muscles a man has his arms never get displaced by his own torso.
You've gone to the trouble of drawing hair on his arms and stomach, yet totally neglected even trying to draw folds on those clothes. Your level of detail has no consistency, and it appears you didn't try to draw folds because you don't know how.
You've also hidden his hands by balling them as fists. With the attitude you're trying to convey, having both hands balled as fists doesn't make any sense.
I'm trying to find something I like about this, but it really looks like no effort has been put in whatsoever. Now, if that is the case, well, I guess you'll have to take my criticism with a grain of salt, and decide which parts of it are accurate, and which parts you can dismiss as an inherent lack of effort.
However, if you're anything like I thoguht you were, and put your all into everything you did, this piece has vastly disappointed, and as I said, is nowhere near your usual standard of artwork.

I see exactly what you mean, and I do appreciate your critiques (and taking the time to examine everything, as well as type it all up in a coherent post). This was essentially a one-hour fun sketch that I did with a friend on openCanvas. If I were to re-do the pic, I would definitely take what you said into consideration.
I also admit that I don't spend enough time with basic proportions and such, as is clearly evident with the size of the car in the background. Again, thanks for all of that, I'll keep it in mind for future pieces I do.

Aha, I see that you are like me, having hard time doing a good car without reference! These are so hard to draw.
