We get a more reflective moment here with Sonic and Amy sharing their feelings. With Sally gone, do you think Amy might catch Sonic on the rebound?
I want to give a shout-out to my Spanish translator Flordeoro for supplying me with Sonic's "Always have, always will" line. She requested I add it somewhere in the script as a callback to one of her favourite SonSal moments from Sonic #125. I was happy to oblige her.

you are not a developer or publisher so you probably know more about what kids want. Innumerable attempts to market to "What is popular with the kids" End in cringe of legendary levels.

Oh god please don't remind of those days. Characters that got attitude and are totally radical. Sonics kinda a relic from that time isn't he? Maybe that's why he doesn't work so well these days too. His personality and attitude just aren't for anyone besides kids it feels like.

he was at his best in the Adventure games in my opinion. Where they nailed the laid back and adventurous hero without making him too much. As of Forces it just feels like he is incapable of taking anything seriously.

I can agree with that, Forces? Eggman won, took over most of the world and probably killed millions, didn't bat an eye, just business as usual, got to go fast and finish this. Failed attack midway through the game ending in more deaths "We'll get em next time" I know exactly what you mean.

the IDW comics actually make a better take on that. I know not everyone is happy with them, I certainly am not happy with the way the Archie comics fizzled out or how the games storys are now, but it is still something.
That is also why I am glad we have tallented creators like this to keep the good stories going, even if they are not legally official.

I dunno if the official stuff will ever reach the heights of SA2 again. I mean I really hope so and 2021 is supposed to be the next year of Sonic. So who knows.

We can only hope can we? I haven't been a big fan of the games in a long time but if they can really improve the gameplay, and make the characters feel a little more serious then that'd be great and I might consider buying it. But for now, quality like Forces.... meh, after all that build up and Sonic mania being so good(admittedly I think comparing 2D games and 3D games as unfair cause it's two completely different ways to play and one lacks any form of diologue) but that game was made by dudes who made ports for the older games and they kinda embarassed Sonic Team. That's how I see it.

Awww thanks so much Glitcher! I love the moment than you use the phrase... And I have so much to say in this page.
First, the background... ok all pages has great background, that inst new. But I LOVE this backgrounds the Northern Lights looks GREAT. I love how you play with Sonics and Amy quills to show us the scene alive... (specially because they almost do not move) Far away we can see the dawn and you play with lights in them very well...
Second, Its so lovely the relation between Sonic and Amy. Sonic feels cosy (sorry if isnt rigth word) to share his feelings about Sally with Amy even if he knows the Amy loves him. That tell me than he KNOWS than Amy respect his feelings for Sally in the same way than he respects her feelings for him. The dialoge show me a very high degree of confidence between them.
Both knows how feel the other one and have peace with that feelings. So they can talk freely talk about the theme because their relation still been base in love, friendship love, but still been love.
Its a very nice moment and its so good to see it beacuse we saw very dark moments in previous pages.

I feel like in this time, this is perfect.
They don't know how this will go. They ould die or be robotized at any moment. So I figured that Amy's approach she has been using for years would KIND OF die out at this point.

I use to always think back when i was a kid reading sonic comics and watching the old sonic cartoons that the reason sonic never accepted amy's advances is that shes more like a annoying kid sister to him.
( not even gonna mention the power rings she had to "advance" her physical bodys age) which comic was that?

Oh my gosh I dreamed of a moment like this in the actual moment to give Amy some sort of respect! Like “hey I love you too but everything’s going to be fine, willing to put my own happiness aside for yours when we save her” and this is already bitter sweet TwT

I like this. I wish the comic explored this more instead of the forced love triangles that came out of nowhere like St. John and Monkey Khan. Sally has 1 adventure with St. John and falls in love. Complete BS. She has 2 conversations with Monkey Khan and falls in love. Complete BS. She's always seemed like the type to take it slow and not rush into things. With more development both love triangles could've worked, but it came off as a cheap way to raise tension and distracted from the main plot.

It's a problem I'm having with a certain cartoon right now. It has an interesting universe but it's being side tracked by all these shipping wars.

It's actually Star Vs. The Forces of Evil. The show is obviously centered around two characters named Star and Marco. It's a fun show but the latest season has been sort of side tracked by both of them being in other relationships despite them both have feelings for each other and being best friends. It's teased multiple times that they might be in love. This is distracting from the otherwise fun and creative world. It distracts from the main plot. If they just got together then we can focus on the more interesting plot lines.

Exactly. Season 4 is airing in 20 days. They should just put Marco and Star together early in the season and focus on the more important things afterwards. There's an entire siege going on but we still have to deal with stupid ships.
