Description
[STH #211]: Snively initially partnered up with Regina Ferrum, the Iron Queen, and conquered New Mobotropolis. But when the Freedom Fighters defeated Regina and liberated the city, a panicked Snively freed the captive Dr. Eggman and they escaped together.I got a slew of comments about what happened on the last page, and it doesn't stop here. I'm starting to think Eggman should have deactivated Mecha Sally before working on her.
And if you remember your Archieverse, you all know where Snively's devotion to Regina Ferrum landed him...VERSION EN ESPAÑOL

Its similar to when youre about to freeze to death. You get accustom to the temperature even though youre dying. Or the boiling frog analogy. Where you put a frog in a pot of water, slowly raise the heat and it wont jump out.

This dismantling of the structure is impressive!
However, I don’t understand one thing: why is there so much engine oil in this android (a very complex machine with a lot of electronics)? This is not a mechanic thing, like a gearbox or a car engine. And why is it black?! Is Eggman such a miser who fills his robots with “working off” (“old” oil)?

I think the oil is meant to symbolize blood. Just switch the color black to red, and you’ve got an A-grade horror flick here.

Maybe, but still it is some illogical. I explain: for such a robot, this amount of oil may be necessary for the hydraulic system of limb control. But Sally has a dwarf growth, so this system is difficult to apply here. As a result, the oil should be smaller, only for the point lubrication of the hinges.
Regarding the color - in my opinion, here the color of the oil should be like that of motor one - amber and translucent.
It is noticeable that the artists who used to draw comics did not change the engine oil themselves)

This is weird. The first comment said this was like the original Robocop, then someone later commented that it's like the reboot Robocop, and now you're reminded of Robocop 2. I guess all we need is someone to compare this to Robocop 3 and we'll be done.

I really like how you do your layouts. Like AsherTye stated in the featured comment, the first panel is possibly one of the darkest I've seen in a very long time (not counting the art that went along with ASADAE

It's nice to read the response this scene is getting, despite the odd complaint here and there. (Of course, I expected that.) I'm glad you appreciate the character accuracy, since I find Snively unusually difficult to draw because of the weird shape of his head.

I still think he should keep her original parts as leverage to manipulate Sonic's emotions in case something goes wrong. Eggman should be tired of failing at this point and have this as a big part of his back up plan. It would be consistent with his character at this point. Crushing peoples' hope even further. Manipulating your most hated enemy is powerful indeed. Maybe he should send this whole procedure to Freedom HQ just to rub it in even further, maybe force some irrational decisions from some of the more emotional members. Great ways of making things even more intense later.

Nah, that just seems too convenient. Its like with James Bond being left alone in easily inescapable situations so the character can survive other adventures. Eggman is twisted, but not stupid.

Eggman is too crafty for something that he'd regret. He has the upper hand right now, why would he wanna set himself for failure like that? Hes steps ahead of everyone, including Snively who Im sure is going to suffer a horrible fate by betraying his uncle soon.
This comic has maintained a grim and sardonic tone to where the heroes are going to experience defeat and the harsh reality that the princess is permanently screwed. It just adds so much emotional weight. Sonic can be at the brink of death in the hands of Eggman and then Mecha Sally randomly delivers the final blow before she explodes or something. The heroes get their victory, but by losing a friend. Right there, Sally made another sacrifice to save the planet. But wait, Rotor was able to download her consciousnesses into NICOLE before she was destroyed.
I realize these ideas may not be used, but its just something to consider that works for this version of Eggman.

C'mon =[, that's pretty weak reasoning. If anything he can plant bombs into her original parts and detonate them if he gets too close. The only reason why I want him to have Robotnik keep them around is for leverage and a way to manipulate the Freedom Fighters. He can even bluff and show a picture but not even say where they are and once again destroy them if they DO figure out where. It's only for added tension in case they de-activate a.k.a turn off Mecha Sally (which would make her immune to self destruction because they can have T-Pup put her in stasis preventing any remote self destruction signal).

So I'm wondering if we're going to have a conclusive arc for all these characters by the end of this retold stuff. Hard to say if there's any bright ending for Snively. He'd probably ruin any peace he could possibly get.

I'm sure it will satisfy my view of Archie Sonic. But I know there will be the occasional fan who will nitpick with random plot points like "What happened to Thrash?" "Where are the Nerbs?" "Why not try such-and-such zone?" You can't please everyone, you know.
