Description
We left on a cold night. Headed to the vessel that would carry us far away, off to some unknown region of the galaxy.Off to fight insurgent forces, terrorizing the outer rim.
We knew what was coming, but nobody wanted to speak about it. The whispers of my brothers and sisters became hushed within the first few minutes, as we were carried off in the night.
It was a very quiet ride that night.
A comic with no words in the TC universe centered around one soldier as he heads out to depart from his home world to venture into the unknown regions of space to fight insurgents. It's only a short comic 2-3 pages about the ride away from his homeworld, no fighting or anything.
Also the new style im trying to get used to looks pretty damn good for backgrounds and scenery. Can't say the same for people and characters though >.>
This originally was an animation outline, but as I do not have any sound effects, microphone to record narration or voices of any kind, nor the internet required to download flash I will just upload it as a comic.

Real Talk, I like this style it goes Really well with the small narration.
On a side note, you can makes gif's (not real animation I know) in Photoshop.

Not a bad art style at all for moody pics. Especially in dealing with shadowy military stuff. A pair of headlights moving long before dawn on a restricted road has a certain effect.
My first impression was a military based story from "Unsolved Mysteries"!

Joking aside, good use of this painterly style. I am intrigued by the background city, and what look to be either some orbital elevators or massive antennas.

Those are antennas. The orbital elevator (yes, you called it, like some sort of a friggin' mind reader) is gonna show up l8r.

Damn dude, the art style really works to give it that dark sort of feel. Real good stuff man, shame it couldn't be an animation but this still is pretty damn cool.

Yeah I tried a lot of stuff out, a lot of stuff going on off DA which is why images are largely slowing down. Concepts, style change tests, everything.
This soft brush just doesn't seem to cut it for humans though. Egh. still working on that.
(Confederate and Republic Comic are still on the way, but atm they are puased.)

Thanks! I feel like I'm getting somewhere for sure. I really wanna get to that level where my stuff looks presentable, and not just really cartoony (though i may or may not just settle on cartoony -_- depends on how it goes)

I tried my hand at a different style than I usually do. And I think it's the style I'm going to be using more often for background work because I thought It turned out quite well too!
(can't say much for the end result on people though. >.>)
