Okay, Realistically, She'd be in armor, I know. This is just an image I wanted to draw of Vanessa, of no specific scene in particular. Plus If I drew her in armor nobody, even myself would be able to tell it was her. So i was like 'eh'

Alright so this is completely badass. Her uniform definitely looks like it's been hell and back with her. The tacticool gloves and the (literal) holographic sight on her sidearm are nice touches; the dust and kicked up earth really adds to the setting. Probably one of your best pictures to date. Keep up the great work man! Wish I could get to the point where I'm drawing on a consistent basis. ;D

She doesn't look mean, she looks determined, not truly irritated or snarky.Β This is Vanessa when she's fighting for her life!Β Too much concentration and welling fear to look evil, even while trying to kill the attackers.
Although, I could imagine some irritation and fear at being caught without her armor on!

Yes, the constant fear of being shot can also be a big push to try and survive and win.
Honestly, I don't think she'd mind too incredibly much without her armor. Just yeah be a little more annoyed than usual. She'd still lead the way to show those cowards who are crying in their armor and cowaring how a real warrior fights.
