Layers and masks are the most basic and well known things for advanced CG makers. Still they give a lot of trouble for people who are just getin started with using programs for digital drawings. I tried to explain in the simpliest way masks and layers here and i hope that everyone who do not know about them will understand <3tutorial for lineart can be found here

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I really hope that it will help me improve my drawings. I've had Adobe Photoshop since Christmas 07, and just started to use it (and slightly understand it) at the end of 08. VERY confusing when you don't have a clue what to do! So thanks again!

em, i have a question, you know the layer that looks like a checkers board, how can I turn it in a white box? I put the new layer and it appears like a checkered box...

Um.. I have a question..
when I placed the 'skin' layer under the lineart.. and when I tried to color the skin layer, nothing appears there. But if I place the skin layer above the lineart, the coloring appears.

Thanks for simplifying the idea of using Masks in PhotoShop. I never really thought about using them because I had no idea why it would be necessary, but this tutorial has opened eyes for me. And thanks again for making a tutorial!

Je voudrais savoir si il y avais moyen que tu vienne exposé un ou plusieurs petit tutos rien que pour communauté " ON-TOP-GEEZ " enfin de pouvoir aidé quelques personnes qui veulent apprendre le graphisme pour le plaisir.
J'ai des ambitions , avoir des tutos en tous genre et en grand nombres pour apprendre un max, mais aussi donné des cours des que la communauté sera un peux plus active. et bien d'autre , car mon projet est très sérieux
Pour faire cela il va falloir s'accroché et pas laché prise et c'est se que je vais faire , en éspérent que tu vienne sur le forum.
