Description
The very top drawing here was a continuation of the previous page; it was a test of how well the bones helped my anatomical choices when I'm confronted with a pose I don't have a reference for in front of me. I think it worked out quite well.

The following day, I did the large drawing just underneath (and intersecting with) that first one. This was a test of anatomy, just as a boring warmup before I started on an idea that popped into my head. This was a BAD IDEA. I ultimately ended up rather displeased with the result, and decided to move on to a gestural sketch of what I wanted to draw: Scootaloo listening to music on big headphones and hopping along. You can see that lightly sketched sideways in the upper right of the page. I sort of liked how this was coming out, so I decided to start the actual drawing (large, light sketch on the bottom of the page). This did NOT work out as I was expecting.

I ended up getting frustrated and tried to draw another 'anatomy test' which came out EVEN WORSE than the first. Throwing my hands up in the air, I set aside the pad for another day.
