I really liked "Rainbow Dash Line Drawing" [link] by ~bobthebobking , so I decided to vector it (with his permission, of course).

This is the really the first significantly detailed vector I've done, and I think it came out quite nicely (though far from perfect). One big lesson I learned from this project is when to use variable width strokes and when to just bite the bullet and make it a fill xD

I plan to come back to this when I have the time to touch it up, because just looking at it now there are a few things I'd like to correct. The far wing looks off to me, and the rear left leg's stroke might be a bit too thick. I'm also thinking about playing with that little wave in the tail; it's a little distracting.

The Rainbow Dash character is owned by Hasbro, and the original work of art was done by ~bobthebobking .
