Boredom + friend using tablet + TOO MUCH TIME DOING NOTHING = this.None of them are all that good, obviously, because they were all REALLY quick sketches. But I followed the rules this time by starting with primitive shapes and building off of them. So they came out much better than they would have had I just done what I normally do.
Everything is drawn from memory except for Fluttershy's mane.
First thing I drew was the sleeping Dash. Proportions are TOTALLY off, which I totally didn't see until I had finished sketching the whole thing. Next was Twi, followed by Fluttershy (SO CREEPY), Dash, AJ and Pinkie (didn't draw Rarity because her mane is so darn complex!). Then I dropped a bit of macaroni salad on RD's face...
Nevertheless, I think you can see a certain amount of improvement in them over time, no?
I may end up doing some of those emotion challenge things (you know, the grid with like 25 different emotions?) for both the emotion training as well as just the repetition. Practice makes perfect, as they say.
EDIT: Upped the contrast so you can actually SEE stuff. Also changed the description a bit.

Macaroni salad? I left a hot pocket on one of my pictures and it ended up orange and slightly greasy ;o;

i think this speaks for itself. I'll have to do a 3rd version, since the 16th is about to roll around again (i might not be able to do it since the 17 is my birthday XP)
