Description
. . . is a state of mind.Assemblage (16" x 9.5" x 5"); mixed media
The finished case has a glass panel inserted behind the window opening.
Why am I making these? It's hard to say, but I do know that I am tremendously enjoying the transition of images I have created digitally with a camera and a mouse to tangible 3-dimensional pieces. It's kind of like a Darwinian fish growing legs and taking that evolutionary step out of the water and onto the shore.
And a little thank you to LauraTringaliHolmes for her generous tips on doing gel transfers. The text in the small side room was my first attempt at doing this. Thank you, Laura.

Hi Teresa! I just finished reading your interview...very insightful!
And thank you. I have been contemplating this transition from digital to physical for quite some time, and I am thrilled that I finally made the leap. One more step in the evolutionary process. Laura has been inspirational to me in many ways. She is a master indeed!
