Description
In a sheltered interior niche on the left of the box (unseen from a distance), I thought to create the semblance of a hidden garden (the one that Alice sought to enter, but which was always just outside of her reach).   With that in mind, I fashioned a bouquet of abstracted "flowers", in the same earthy tones as the curio shelf, to stand as a transition from one realm to another. The bouquet was made from vintage buttons that I gleaned from my grandmother's old button jar.
