Description
I was absolutely convinced that I had messed up the colouring on this at one point and was about to paint over the whole thing with acrylics, but then I thought I may as well just stick with it for a while longer and I think it turned out okay in the end... with a little help from some goache and indian ink...Mostly watercolours (with a few sneaky extras)

At first I didn't notice his face, because it's quite similar in colour to his hair and is lost a little. I love his expression. "DON'T MAKE ME SIGN ANOTHER FUCKING COPY OF WATCHMEN FOR CHRISSAKE I'LL PWN YOU."

Well, too cooks spoil the brooth. You were pretty worked out on the walls and the windows. Maybe you can do it graphically next time, like Dave Mckean's.
Anyway, I kinda dig into Alan Moore's way of storytelling and your style of picturing him in this piece

I admit it didn't really make much sense painting Alan Moore like an Arthur Rackam rather than a graphic comic, but what's done now is done...

Well, I just find the doors and windows were overlapped by 1-2 layers of paints and it doesn't seem to work that way. Then again, it's still okay anyway and sometimes rules are meant to be broken.

it's good thing not to give up at when you fail at the first steps - sometimes it turns out like this - pretty interesting %)

anyway! Nice image, the composition gives off a nice atmosphere, but I especially like the natural/earthy texture the painting has given the image
