Vector art bySo recently Sega made a poll asking fans if they wanted to see these franchises cross over with Sonic. They were just popular things like Mario, DBZ, and a few others, however one in particle got some attention and that was none other then MLP. Now since a good chunk of the Sonic fanbase despises mlp they quickly came to the conclusion that Sega wants to make a Sonic X MLP game. Well I'm here to say that's most likely not the case at all. Just because Sega included MLP as a choice in the poll that doesn't mean they want to work with Hasbro to bring these two series together. They probably just included it in the poll cause it is one of the more popular Sonic crossovers on the internet. Hell even if MLP did get the most votes in the poll, Sega still probably wouldn't actually consider bringing these two together. So there it's not actually happening so calm the fuck down!

Actually, it now does have a 50% chance of this happening. Both Sonic the Hedgehog and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic actually has a lot in common like both having a supernatral world where lots of fantasy/sci-fi stuff happens with lots of fantical creatures and the main civilians being these colourful talking creatures that act like humans and come in different species, colours, abilities, powers and personalities. And both have a human world where some of the characters from the supernatural world would land into at one point. And some Sonic games actually have the theme of friendship like Sonic Adventure, Sonic Rush and even Sonic Forces. Plus, the Archie comics ended and the Sonic comic rights has been past to IDW, who also publishes the My Little Pony comics, so it might happen someday.

If it does happen, I'm not taking it seriously. The people that used this crossover years ago have just turned it into a freaking joke for me.

I used to love Sonic x MLP but now I hate it with a passion. They are both completely different franchises. Sonic vomits action while MLP vomits girlyness. MLP should be crossed over with magical girl franchises like Precure, PowerPuff Girls, Tokyo Mew Mew etc (except PMMM though) while Sonic should be crossed with Mario, Kirby, Dragonball Z, TMNT etc. The only media MLP should be crossed over with Sonic is Sonic Boom.

I hate MLP:FiM, I mostly avoid it. I used to like it but... now I despise it.
Don't even get me STARTED on the upcoming movie. If anything, replace it entirely with Jewelpet; now that series deserves to be recognized. ^^
Rants aside, I don't think a Sonic & MLP crossover will ever happen. There, I said it.

True fact, they have referenced or appeared with Sonic in official media, Garfield for a PC game pack, the Sonic & Garfield Pack, which included S3&K and Caught in the Act (one of the better Garfield games),Β and Miku in Project Mirai, where Sonic is an unlockable item.
Also the MLP movie seems like it might make 2017 a bad year for movies, and don't get me started on the fucking EMOJIS.

I figured they wouldn't do something like that. Though these days, anything is possible. At best, if they were going to follow through with the idea, we might simply get an episode of Sonic Boom that's a crossover with MLP:FiM.

Actually I'm neutral towards MLP so I wouldn't really care either way if an offical crossover happen. I'm just sick of Sonic fans overreacting to stuff they should know isn't likely to happen.
