An infinitely important piece. Hopefully the idea that "if you lie loud enough, long enough, people will believe you" doesn't work here, because that entire entry... Ugh. That "statement" of $spyed 's makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.
When I first joined DA 2 1/2 years ago, it was burned into my mind (pleasurably, of course) that you (and, as I later found out, °matteo ) were the highest admin here. Spyed? All I remember is that he posted a message on every active deviant's page once, and that was it. I don't even remember when he became staff, since he just wasn't a creator. I can't believe he thought the rest of the community was stupid enough to not use archive.org to find the original staff page-- let alone with you still on the site. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't see °matteo mentioned ONCE in the entire statement. No matter whether someone would believe him being a founder, leaving out what would be, from his statement, the third founder... How could he expect anyone to believe him after that? Obviously he's underestimating DA.
I am behind you 100%, Sir Jark, now and forever (even if unofficially now) the holder of the title of "DA's (Co-)Father".

Ah, the good old days, back in 2003 when I join I admired so much of people's art, and now it's coming to this. *sniff* I'd hate to leave this site, you jark have done a great job, and I like how it's turning out. I really don't know what goes on here, but for the sake of us all I hope this site does stay and continue through out our lives.

This situation cabe to be so suddenly and was handled badly that only conclusion is that it was probably a PERSONAL conflict that SHOULD have been settled differently. $spyed failed to be a proffesional. And Im affraid it may destroy the site.

People are jumping to conclusions, and believing the first story they hear, without researching what all is happening, and listening to all sides..

I have read all the related pieces of information that have been said by anyone of any importance. I would not participate in this if this situation would have been handled profesionaly from the beginning. It has NOT been handled at all! It took FOUR days for $spyed to post ANYTHING in his journal of all places!!! And only because the uproar was getting loud enough. there should have been a hottopic anouncing this demotion with even the same explanationles crapp published in the earlyer mentioned journal and this would not be. there would be mourning for °jark but not this public outcry.

I first came to deviant art last year. I didnt know what the yellow alien ment and just wondered why there was a stupid yellow alien on almost every thing, icon, emotion legends, devaitions too. Once I foudn out what that yellow alien meant he wasnt so stupid anymore. My point is on deviantart you are not just its foudner of this site or somebody who maintians it. You are a symbol on this site and of this site most peaples associate the yellow alien with this site and that is associated with you.
