Description
This is just a goofy idea that came to me about a week ago. Most of my ideas come from silly wordplay. I dig the classic version of Archie from the 40's far more than his modern interpretations, so I went with that old school look for him. And the idea of big ol' dangerous Juggernaut wearing a vintage Jughead hat just seemed to funny to pass up. If I had my druthers, I could make this the coolest Archie Comics/Marvel Comics team-up since Archie Meets The Punisher back in the 1990's (I own a copy). But at any rate, this was fun to make.Related content

Hey, did you know that Jughead's hat is based off of the hat's that mechanics and electricians wore in the '30s and '40s?

I thought it was based off of the alterations boys would make to their fathers' old fedoras. Instead of throwing them out, boys would flip the brim and trim it cuz it was just the fad of the day. Then factories started making them. Whoopee Caps, yes? I swear Archie did a comic about the hat's origin. Did mechanics wear them, too?

I lost my copy of the Archies/Punisher crossover, dammit! But I love this gag--Jugheadnaut. Deadpool, in his four issue limited series, even made that joke: "Jugheadnaut? Is that the guy who finds the Archies? Because if it is who I think it is, game over, I quit, Mom's calling me, I'm late for dinner!"

Ha, its nice to see him moderately funny again. For about as far as I can remember our bathroom has always had a huge stack of these comics. My parents used to collect them as teenagers
