I recently received a fan letter from a fellow named Hans in Germany, who told me he was a fan of my work, particularly "Dead Duck" and "Necronomicomics". He mentioned how he collects sketches from cartoonists he admires, and asks them to draw something with a pig in it, a common theme in his collection. He sent me some scans of other artists that contributed, such as Art Spiegelman (Maus) and Will Eisner (The Spirit). I was touched and honored that he asked me to contribute a sketch, so I drew this small piece of my character, Bodie Troll, trying to scare a large pig (if you look close, you'll see a smaller piglet to the left, grabbing some nourishment). I'm thrilled to know I have a fan in Germany, and I'm excitedly putting this sketch in the mail today!
