Sooooooooooo I read this story [link] (which is uber cute by the way
) and couldn't resist drawing this; Spock somehow gets turned back into a child and so Bones and Kirk look after him (Spock was cold so Kirk gave him his shirt 
)....then they find scars and think he's been abused......but I wont say any incase you want to read it. TIS SO CUTE. I KNOW I'M BEING ALL MATURNAL OR SOMETHING BUT IT IS.
I didn't really know what to do as a background......so I drew the inner workings of my mind. Only in my mind those little coloured blobs would be floating about.~
Anywho, I would quite like any critique you can throw at me.

The anatomy here is very well drawn... except for Bones's fingers. They look too much like sausages.
The shading and shadows are fantastic, and rather lush, I think. Well done on making the shading faint where it would make sense for it to be faint and darker where it would make sense for it too be darker.
The expression that you've given Bones is good, because it gives a clear impression of him being sombre and worried. Kirk's expression also shows worry quite clearly.
I like how colourful and vibrant the background is. The trouble is, it seems very out of place. The scene is of two men tending to a child with looks of sadness and worry on their face - the scene seems gloomy and sombre. The background, on the other hand, is happy, bright and bubbly!
I like the thick, rather jagged white spaces around the characters. It gives the picture a vibrant, funky look, and I don't think that them getting smudged took much away from them.
However, like I said, vibrant funkiness seems out of place in this scenario.
Ah well, I suppose you could just say that the large contrast between the scenario and the background adds exotic weirdness to this picture - and I suppose that might be quite appropriate, seeing as how Spock's been turned into a child! That's quite a strange thing to happen.
