Description
After a bit of brainstorming, I came up with an idea for the second movie in my hypothetical Animorphs trilogy. I ended up combining the elements from a bunch of different books together – it was tough to make them all fit, but I think I made it work. The Animorphs receive a visit from the all-knowing and seemingly all-powerful Ellimist, who tells them that he has seen the future and they are going to lose the war against the Yeerks. Their best bet is to relocate to another planet now. The Animorphs refuse to turn their backs on humanity, but shortly after, all five kids start having strange prophetic visions. These premonitions end up leading them to several notable allies, including Erek, the pacifistic alien android, and Jara Hamee and Ket Halpak, two peaceful Hork-Bajir who escaped the Yeerk pool. But even with their new teammates, the Animorphs are facing bigger and bigger obstacles in their attempts to take down the Kandrona ray that feeds the Yeerks…so when the Ellimist returns, they begin to consider his offer of relocating humanity after all. Whisking them off to the planet of the Iskoort, the Ellimist reveals his true intentions for getting the kids off planet Earth – he drops the Animorphs into a vicious battle royale, where they must take down a murderous alien race known as the Howlers…or else face the wrath of Crayak, a sinister entity out to obliterate all life in the universe.
Also at work here is the subplot of Tobias and Rachel’s relationship. Their feelings for each other are escalating more and more, but Tobias is still trapped in his hawk morph. If only there were some way for him to become human again…

Yes! I liked the book series! But what little I saw of the show, didn't do it justice.

I don't understand the plot mostly due to my lack of knowledge of the series, but I like the detail you put into it and I LOVE the poster!

Alien slugs are taking over people's brains. Some kids, and later a kid alien, get the power to change into animals, to fight said invaders. Thats the main gist of it.

What if he's a Yeerk, though?

If that's the case we're all screwed.
But honestly I'd put money down saying he'd have some gadget that would repel them. Or make his body reject them or some such thing.

Only if he had any reason to believe the Yeerks exist.

The Yeerks took quite a lot of care to avoid detection, though. Plus, the Yeerk Pool is a leeeeeeeeettle out of his jurisdiction.

I rather any Deus-ex deities stay out of a reboot, tbh.

Problem with that idea is, Crayak is kind of important to the resolution of the last few books, when his attention on the Animorphs shifts from Jake to making Rachel another one of his servants.

Crayak is a sub-plot, easily cutable without it affecting the A plot.

He's the reason David comes back. Although, I don't think Jesse is planning to adapt David or not.

Then don't David back, the original David arc is enough for him.

Hey, that's the exact same idea I'd have! Neato!
I like how your poster just hints at Erek's true nature, and gives us only the slightest glimpses suggesting the Ellimist and Crayak. That's a good idea, don't show too much of them this early, just like the books usually made sure not to overuse them.
And hey, Guide made the poster too! I always liked him for some reason.
