YAY!!! I have flash, and all I know how to do is the simple stuff like dressup games, morphing, and a bouncing ball. But I have a question. I tried to make a preloader bar, but all it did was like flash. (like a light) and then i went back, then it flashed so fast you coulden't even see it. Can you tell me what i did wrong?

I'm trying to figure out buttons. See I have this doodle thing I made and at the end of it on my last frame i have Stop()... but then i have a button on that and i can't figure out how to make it go back to the beginning of the animation..:S

well.. you can try finding a place to but it online. Try to buy an educational version because it'll cost less.

Erm... Wow. This helps me allot! Thank you so much! I was using the 'up' 'down' thingie all wrong. xDD And I'm on a Mac too, so it's good to finally be able to understand everything in a tutorial. |D
One thing though... I still can't get the buttons to work! D: Whenever I try to select my button and add actionscript to it... Actionscript says 'Current selection cannot have actionscript applied to it.'

Uhm. Have the action script window open, and use on the selection arrows to click on your button.. the black one I think... and that should work, if not, comment back!
Is your button regestered as a button? That could be why.. Im not sure though.
