Description
Not everything is super flashy, such as this humble plastic airsoft pistol. I added the brass looking grips to see how they look and I like the contrast with the darkness of the gun itself. More work to do, but here it is to hopefully enjoy as-is

Nice work! An old friend! You should attempt to get in touch with some people in the silver-screen business, get paid to make props for movies! (example the Morita Rifle from Starship Troopers.) I love the Brass-colored grips, my thoughts, "brass" the trigger and hammer. But that's just my thoughts... Still, all and all a great work of art! It's a good representation of what my GTS Blue and Black 1911 will look like in a year or so... Minus the brass grips of course!

I have that exact same pistol! I spray painted it silver and then sponged black acrylic paint to give it a tarnished look. But how do make it weathered like that around the edges?
