Hey guys! Here's a resin cast replica of the MA5C Assault Rifle we all have probably carried in the game HALO
I'll try to get some better photos tomorrow before it heads to Australia for a Halo 4 launch party

I'm really glad you like them! Β They take a lot of time to make and paint so the price does reflect that. Β I've found that expensive is a relative term though where things I can't even afford for myself are maybe a day's work for someone else. Β I just try to make them as nice as possible and hope to recoup the money and time spent

AMAZING work! I can't tell you how impressive this is! I know this is expecting a short version of a long story, but how did you start making these awesome props? Is it something you always wanted to do, or what?

Slow response, sorry! I am professionally a painter and these replicas were always something that I wanted to do for myself. Amass a wall of cool weapons, you know? Well, then I started sharing the photos of my work and things just took off from there. It's more work than most people realize, but I think the key to my success is not caring about the costs involved. I've also been blessed enough to have met companies and individuals who were willing to help support me by funding the projects. I would also be quick to thank all the dedicated builders who make the kits thst allow me to breath life into their hard work. Its all a community effort and im just glad to have met the best group of peopel possible here on dA and elsewhere on the interwebz lol

Two questions, 1. Is that one solid piece of fiberglass resin? 2. How much? IDC if it's a lot, give me a number please!

It's single piece, but not solid. It's about 3-4lbs and a good weight for carrying around

It is an MA5C from Halo 3. The longer barrel an overall also longer body along with the green light confirm this.

well i'll have to go digging through my books, but it looks like the assault rifle from halo 3. also [link] see the part of the gun (this is the MA5B from halo reach) that has the yellow stripe on it. could you just make that part and the in font where the barrel comes out and the part behind which houses the ammo counter i want to see what it would look like on a SCAR-L
