Thank you for this tutorial. It makes stuff like digital art for a beginner easy. Instead of experimenting with tens of thousands of unknown possibilities through trial-and-error, a beginner can learn where some of the basics are and what they do so they have a more advanced base for their drawings and can get ahead in their artistic skills since they learned more after. You also pointed out small details that likely most would simply overlook and many beginners could develop an eye for these details in both looking at an image or drawing of any kind or when they make their own work. You also turn the image focus from a 3D image to a 2D image, so in a nutshell it is a piece of paper with detailing but created through digital means on a computer. instead of thinking complex 3D effects that can mentally block an artist, you help them visualize their work as simply an 2D image with drawing illusions that the human eye can manipulate into a scene of 3D properties.
This is a gold mine for a beginning digital artist and I thank you for taking the time to make such an amazing tutorial. You might not be able to grasp the effect of how it feels for others since it felt like everyday life and basically it was everyday life when you created this but for them this means much more. They don't know what it felt like to create this which was basically just another deviation or drawing or similar to a degree in how it felt for you but for them this is an excellent guide that can create a base for digital art for them that can make their digital artistic abilities increase far from average and make amazing art.

Amazing tutorial on how to get certain effect and how to get better! I applaud you for doing this
One question i wish to ask: on the painting over line art part once the layers are merged, you say paint over it. how do you mean exactly? with shades from the light and shadows on that area I'm assuming?

This is probably one of the best tutorials I've found for digital painting, you explained everything in detail but without it getting confusing. And the finished product is beautiful! Definately trying this

TY soo much for throughly describing each step, most tutorials just say do this do that, blend this together and bam their done. You show each actual step in little pictures labeled very well, in such a way that ppl can actually understand whats going on. This is one tutorial I can really learn from

This is amazing!
I got a graphics tablet ages ago and have a range of art software on my computer... Ive just never really practised... I love drawing traditionally although ironically my dA page is empty but I feel like using a graphic tablet is like learning to draw all over again :/
Do you have any tips for getting used to it and stuff?
And thanks for the tutorial, your artwork is amazing <3
