Could simply be that in the open daylight, the sunlight reflects on the visors and gleams, giving the illusion of being white, and when they're in a low-light environment (indoors, nighttime) the visor is more transparent, such as in your art.

Oh ok, That seems fair. one more question. are you excited for Detective Pikachu ft. Ryan Reynolds AS Pikachu. Seeing how you make IRL Pokemon concepts, you must have exploded with joy with this being the FIRST irl pokemon movie, what are your thoughts?

Uhh well I was originally meant to work on it but it didn'tΒ work out in the end. Tbh I don'tΒ think I'll personally enjoy the film, it's not really my cup of tea. I was hoping for more of a realistic take on the pokemon, its got quite a 'Alvin and the Chipmunks' vibe. Detective Pikachu wasn'tΒ what I was hoping for for the first live action film

Oh yeah I understand. re-making something that was 2D animated and turning it 3D with CGI can be a VERY difficult process, especially very popular shows with a large audience, like the newer Sonic games or theΒ Transformers movies. The first one was pretty good, but then it started to go downhill and overworked with the others, and yeah The Alvin movies were not that good ether. Maybe when I was younger but now its just too cheesy. I just hope it wont be the same for Detective Pikachu. We just have to hope and pray that its somewhat good.Β Β Β Β
