Yeah this was the first attempt really, oil on canvas. I've been thinking lately I'd like to do an updated version of this, hopefully Angie will be into it.
She's quite heavily tattoo now, so I think it would be really interesting.

Love the light. Because of what it exposes mostly of course
But also the because of the the contrast, quite expressive (or/and expressionistic)

That one was totally my break through piece, first time I thought I might be a painter was just after I finished it

I like ur use of shadows alot, theres nice constrast in this image. to better ur image i think u could lighten up the big black viods but apart from that its very good

i'm impresed... its very delicate... very good propotion with form and with colours...

This was the first full colour painting I'd ever attempted. I was totally in love with Angie while painting this, and it was really important to me that it was beautiful, as she for some unknown reason was very down on herself. I spent 36 hours in 50 working on it, then gave it to her. Was really a break though piece. I kinda wish i still had it, but it meant the world to her at the time.

Not to sound overly mean but I do like the lighting, but where is it coming from? Where some of your shadows are it does not seem consistant. Other than that great job.

There are 2 windows and a skylight in that room, so it gives kinda wierd shadows, but I like it

LOL. Man it makes me feel bad. But thats neat really. Gives me something to think about the next time I draw something like that. I dont usually use that many light sources so you have just broadened my mind a lil.

Well it must be said I worked from a photo, which makes it a whole bunch easier to get the light to work....multi sorces are like, hard....but yah they can be cool
