Thanks, but I'm happy to say I'm better at art than I am at Skyrim. Β Get my butt handed to me playing that game, but I'm a pretty lousy gamer anyway.

Digging the horns (and battle damage to same), not too put off by the color scheme at all, but you've got a point about the blunt snout. though at least yours is markedly more rugged-looking than Final Wars Ang's oddly Godzilla-reminiscent mug. Gotta admit, I'm also none too keen on the lipless crocodilian dental structure-Anguirus just strikes me as one of those beasties who's at his best with some extra capacity to emote (i.e. grimace or snarl). That noted, your eye for texture continues to impress.

ever grateful, for sure.Β I don't know why I've moved toward lipless form, to be honest I don't really like it all that much but it just has that....look, to it.Β Not really sure the motivation here for that, again probably the video game dragons.

To be fair, snagglejaws work for many contemporary daikaiju-Zilla, Orga, Megaguirus, Clover & the Pacific Rim cast can attest to that. I've wondered for a while how Anguirus might look with a slightly more mammalian/therapsid dental array (old-school curved fangs up front, slightly smaller set o' lower canines, pointies midway down, hyena-style molars in the back).

Very nice rendition of Anguirus. Makes me wonder if this design is inspired to the proposed Heisei design or the GMK design.

The GMK design was vastly better than this I think, but since other artists have already gone to town on that I figured I'd do my own thing.Β Thank you!

Cool!! Your wife should play Skyrim more often! I really like how this came out! You should give him wings too! You should also draw Godzilla and Rodan with the "Skyrim" mentality active lol. Really awesome job!

I think if I'd made the snout a little longer it MIGHT not have made so many people think of Ghidorah.Β I'm gonna have to bear that in mind for future redesigns.Β Thanks though

I was playing Skyrim the other day, And during the loading screens they show the dragons that you can spin around and look at. I was thinking, "Wouldn't it be cool if someone took the dragons concepts and applied them to the Godzilla universe!" lol Looks like you did it.Β

You know it's funny I've never played Skyrim, but I see it so often as my wife plays and often she'll be at it while I'm just doodling away.Β I guess it was inevitable that it would leak into the artwork sooner or later, but I really do love most of the dragon designs out of that game.

It's actually more of an issue with my monitor colors and how things upload to different websites.Β I meant him to be more brown, but it came out more golden because of the saturation issues with my monitor and my abobe settings.Β Need to get those looked at.
