Think I need the top of my skull opened so I can scratch my brain. *Scratches head anyway.* I love how you able to make the layers with the acrylic. I suck with anything that isn't water color. I still say you have to be one of the most amazing artists out there.

I have a question. Is it better to paint the first layer and then add the shading or wait until it dries?

It's worthy to wait if you don't want the two colours getting mixed up, paint shades onto undried layer if you want blending the edges of the shadows and lighted parts, acrylics drying fast, so it won't take much waiting.

That was great. It kinda puts things into perspective when you see how something so wonderful starts. Maybe I shouldn't keep throwing away my rough sketches so quickly ^_^

Hehe looking at rough sketches is always funny, whenever you start working on a piece, it's hard to imagine it can ever become an artwork

I do the sketches the same, but it seems that I can't choose the right combination of the colors for clouds (there are some purple clouds in the game, made me so frustrated while I tried to make them!)
What brushes do you use? Are they ordinary mortal ones (bought from flea market!
