And here we come at the end of it all. Ending it the same way it started, with the sister of Headstrong Extraordinaire , this series has been a blast for me to make all around.

Thanks to my good pal , who's recent interest in Digimon rekindled my love for the series, and in the process also gave me a good partner-in-crime for many Digimon-related shenanigans, and with the amazing Digimon Tri movies keeping up strong with my emotions, these 15 years of Digimon have certainly been a cherished experience.

I hope you enjoyed all of these pieces as much as I did creating them. Can't wait for the new Tri movie to come out soon. Here's to another 15 amazing Digital years!

Kari's inclusion to the team took me completely by surprise when it was first revealed that she was the 8th Digidestined. Not because I feel she is not worthy of being one. Far from that, she always has been a literal delight to watch during the show's entirety. Main reason for the surprise was that, having 7 main characters felt like a more complete way of going about things, due to the symbolic importance that the number 7 always had across history. And we all know Japan loves it's symbolism. 8 has it's own symbolism too, of course, but it is no where near as important what 7 always had.

That being said, onto the sprite collab itself, it really was a no-brainer which Pokemon line I would choose for Kari and Tailmon. Much like Salamon, Ralts starts off weak and upon it's first evolution, it's REAL power is shown and it builds up from there. I really loved Tailmon's mojo when she was introduced and the eventual sass that came from the natural cat nature she had. Fittingly enough, ending it all with Mega Gardevoir and Ophanimon, this Digimon/Pokemon match was literally made in heaven.

My only complaint that kinda dampens my love for this particular piece (even though I LOVED making it)? Bandai's decision to make Holydramon as Tailmon's official Mega evolution. I mean, I get it, it was what they introduced in that one movie and is more recognisable by fans, but TV show movies tend to have the tendency to not be canon to a show's overall canon story (and with good reason, because they almost never live up to the actual shows), so in the long run, it was debatable if Tailmon REALLY had this form in canon too. Particularly when the MUCH more thematically fitting Ophanimon came around. Not to mention that it keeps the theme of Kari and T.K.'s digimon sharing a lot of the importances that make them such special Digimon to begin with. Seraphimon and Ophanimon mesh a lot better thematically than Seraphimon and a dragon, ESPECIALLY when you consider their biblical roles they are supposed to be based on. >:/

Sorry for the above rant, needed to get this off my chest. I was aspiring for this series to stick true to canon and RIGHT at the very end, Bandai takes it from me with a single flip. AAAARGH! XD

Update 9/2/2018: Well WHOOP DEE FRIGGIN' DOO, it's now official. With the new trailer for Tri part 6 coming out, it is confirmed that Tailmon's official Mega really IS Holy(fraking sukamon)dramon. I (VERY begrudgingly) had prepped for this ahead of time by making a second version for Kari with a more fitting Mega Pokemon line to match Tailmon, and Swablu is, all ranting aside, the most fitting match for Tailmon, Angewomon and Holydramon. The three stages work even better in this, cause Plotmon was never really that much relevant in the long run and the focus on a three-stage line mixes better with Tailmon's progression. Besides, Swablu DOES fit the fluff aspect of Tailmon just fine, as does Altaria with the grace of Angewomon and then topping it all off with Mega Altaria's murder-fluffness being perfect for Holydramon. And here is where I bury my hopes and dreams, for you all who would still like to see the original piece the redacted part refers to .

Come what may, this ends the Digitrainer Pokemon/Digimon Collab series. I hope you enjoyed all of them, and there are MANY more to come real soon. New ideas, same-old Pokemon and going back to a more traditional Custom trainer collab style once more are coming up. Thank you all for being such awesome Brave Hearts, people!
