Closing in towards the end, and just in time before the next Tri chapter comes out for more feels and tears. Lookin' like T.K. will gain some limelight once more and I am SO excited!

In reflection, Digimon may actually have been one of my only times in childhood that I cared for the story so much, and not just for the cool fight scenes (the other being Yu-gi-oh). Seeing the franchise get so much love these days, especially the Adventures series, which I grew up with, makes me so happy to be part of this. When my good friend decided to watch all of the Digimon series, my giddyness exploded through the roof, and in the process, I have rediscovered my enthusiasm for Digimon as a whole. You wanna thank someone for inspiring this series of sprite collabs (if you like them), thank her. :3

I guess I am kinda like T.K. with this. Forget the epic fights, just wanna have good adventures with friends.

Ahhh, how quickly they grow up. One of our two favourite pumkins, T.K., alongside Kari, were an instant love for me, particularly because they are the lil' baby siblings of the show and this old sentimental paper always wanted a baby bro or baby sis to look after ( still a single-child ;__; ).

Patamon, of course, is the cutest patootie and I simply wanna hug him. And it's only fitting that the Pokemon counterpart I chose is Mareep, one of the fluffiest and most huggable pokemon around. Sadly, similarities end there, as apart from that, I had no other choices for a three-member evolution pokemon line that also had a Mega evolution at the end. Although Patamon's line veers on holy-themed elements, Fairy types would work better for him. Buuut, the only Fairy line that meets the three-member evo with Mega condition is the Ralts line (and we all know who is more fitting for that one ;D).

Electric type was the next best thing and I guess in the long run, Ampharos and Mega Ampharos do focus on being benevolent pokemon who like helping humans, just like the angels that MagnaAngemon and Seraphimon are. Aside from this creative diviation, I really like how this one also turned out. The golden/yellow colours always fitted T.K. well, so Mareep may not have been a bad choice after all.

Only one more to go. Before the shadows of feels that the upcoming Digimon Tri movie will give us, we get one last chance for some light in our hearts. ;D
