The two men continued to wrestle each other in the middle of the ring. Scott's tight grip on the white scot made it tough to break off from the clinch and the added pressure to his broken ribs made the pain worse. Finley threw some punches to Scott's chin in the hopes of him breaking away. The attack seemed to almost work as his grip loosened a bit however Scott was very adamant to keep his opponent close as he quickly re-wrapped his arms around him again. Scott head butted in retaliation further smashing in the white scotsman's teeth. Bits of blood sprayed all over, with punches flurrying all over his face. Scott was desperate in trying to inflict as much pain as possible to his opponent and Finley became helpless.

His resilience was soon rewarded however as Scott's burst of energy suddenly gave out. Finley quickly adapted and instead wrapped his left arm around Scott's head into a choke hold. "Ye thought ye had me with them punches of' yer's?" says the white scot, "Time to return the favo'r". Immediately Finley hammered multiple punches into Scott's face. Each hard punch further swelling the right side of his face. His nose further crunched into his head and his already swollen bottom lip looked as if it were about to burst in blood. Tried as he might, Scott couldnt break out of the hold and was at the mercy of Finley's armpit. With his free left arm, he threw some awkward punches to the abdomen but it wasnt enough to keep his adversary from halting the pummeling.
