What book could make a girl cry who eats monsters for breakfast? I have left the cover blank. The best suggestion will be painted in later.

Huh... maybe a tragic tale of gay love that the world around the characters couldn't accept... as to what books are out there that fit that description... I can't really recall any...
Also, the "Luthor brand" tissues raised my eyebrow, I guess he does own just about everything...

Do you use chalk for all your art?

I use Berol Prismacolor pencils. These are among the highest quality colored pencils in the worls. They have a higher pigment to vehicle ratio than other brands. Crayolas are mostly composed of petroleum wax. Prismacolors are mostly ground pigment.

Raven's shirt is just a powerhouse of highlight and shadow. you also have made a very peculiar and entertaining style here. thin arms, the shape of the eyes, small mouths. and their eyes lead into each other. also, Raven's arms are doing a lot, and i like it. a little busy work for the calm color scheme.
maybe add more detail to Starfire's skirt, Raven's arm makes it look flat by comparison. you're too good for your own good

Beacaue of the color scheme Starfire's figure seems to fade into the background while Raven's shape protrudes.
This was an odd early experiment of mine in depicting these characters. It is neither toon nor anime. They seem rather stiff and angular. I wouldn't do them this way again.

tsk tsk. Porn makes a lot of money. Twilight makes a lot of money. I haven't found either to be particularly well crafted.
you have craftsmanship. and i do like the style. fresh. different.
but yeah, i wasn't too erked about starfire's dress. it was just "well gee, i gotta point out SOMETHING that could be improved."

I don't think Raven's one to cry about "Old Yeller" when she saw her homeworld get destroyed by her demonic daddy. Raven's got a pretty tough exterior to work through. Just ask Beast Boy about that (given the comic canon of them being together)!
