So, partly, here's some progress on my shuttecraft model. But also, something I put together while off sick the other day.

It's based on a piece of fan-concept art I saw years ago for a small Federation ship and from what I can recall, it looked a bit like this. I found it a fundamentally charming idea and decided to render a version to go alongside the Excalibur, but I cannot find the original piece anywhere. So if anyone can point me in the right direction, please do. I would love to give the appropriate credit.

In the meantime, here she is so far. As you can see, she's a diddy little thing, just able to fit aboard and equipped for landing and presumably fast warp travel. Not really much to say, but I think it might be a fun idea to work up further.

The concept art I was remembering is this by Jason Lee (aka Vektor over at TrekBBS), who did a rendition of the Sulek Class from one of the Pocket Book novels: www.trekbbs.com/threads/someth… . Obviously, my version ended up a tad less lean, so I may have to do some revisions!
