Description

Elenthriel
-A land of both humans and Skinshifters. The Elenthriel half of the Menurei-Elenthriel continent is divided into three Arch-Kingdoms: Mardell in the north, populated by the largest population of Dwarves in the world. Elenthriel in the Central region, encompassing all from the Basterhelm region in the center of the continent to the Elenthrieli homeland in the East Coast. Juphret in the south, encompassing the whole southern coastline and the Wetland Wilds.

Capital: Selmoor (Elenthrieli), The City of Mardell (Mardellian), City of Juphret (Juphresian)

Menurei
-The Demonlands, where demons like the ones from the Fell-Haven city of Valerianna are found. The southern desert peninsula is where the First Yovagonde Crossing occured, resulting in the Basterhelm deserts. Divided into regions according to the concentration of Skinshifters' animalian ethnicities (Mammalian, Avian, Reptilian, Demon-elf Populations, and Human populations). Governing body is led by the Vulpian Royal Family, after a series of inter-region wars known as the Three Hundred Year War. The Fadost island chain is a colonial state of Menurei, though there have been some democratic pushes for sovereignty.

Capital: Metalia

Panalog
-A lesser-known land where it is said that demons, skinshifters and humans live in harmony. Half the land sunk in the great cataclysm that occurred thousands of years prior. Steeped in religious philosophy, animism, and spiritual eotericism that has unfortunately caused problems in them assimilating to the rest of the world. However, the peoples' resolve and knowledge of their own land has thwarted nearly all aggressive colonization attempts. Said to be a migration location for endangered Dragons.

Capital: Bulua

Western Setim
-This half of Setim is ruled by ten lords assigned to ten different regions within their borders, who all bow down to one emperor residing in the capital region of Fordeheim. Laws vary from region to region, but all of them are fearful of the unknown and reject those unlike them, almost to a capacity rivaling Xorem. This is because of the Demon Invasions of 360 R.V., which left its inhabitants harder and tougher than their neighbors. Only recently have non-humans begun to be persecuted again in their lands.

Capital: Fordeheim

Eastern Setim
-This half of Setim is ruled by a king chosen by the people among the various reigning lords, governors, and representatives of the fourteen regions. The king changes once every seven years, and one king can only serve up to twenty-seven years until he becomes ineligible to run again. They are generally more accepting of the unknown, causing them to be frowned upon by their western neighbors. Many of them, especially those in the flourishing resource-rich region of Opriost, have a tendency to scoff at their Western neighbors, seeing them as xenophobic barbarians without understanding the hardships they endured during the Demon Invasions of 360 R.V. More non-humans reside here, but only the ones that can survive its climate.

Capital: Betoheim

Sion
-A land that has been colonized by outlaws and their descendants, due to its stature as being the world’s penal continent for centuries, being sent the rest of the continents’ criminals and exiles. A last known refuge of the true Giant species. Its climate is about as harsh and unforgiving as Setim’s.

Capital: Ziorey

Ghu-Ven Dai
-Home to the Daimar, the elves. Secluded and closed off from the outside world, their civilization has flourished in the absence of war from other nations, ironically because of their vicious methods of defending their borders, using alchemical chimeras and magical calamity-level spells alongside armaments of merciless design. Whatever invention or idea manages to seep from this land to the others would most definitely change the course of their development. Before the First Yovagonde Crossing, the continent was divided into four different, weaker cultures, before they were united by the His Exellency, Holy Emperor Thereol I. He saved Yovagonde-occupied Ghu-Ven Dai during the Crossing and closed them off from the rest of the world.

Capital: Fel

Xorem
-One of the more advanced open, heavily enamored with the Faith of the Everglow. They have developed many forms of holy magics called Miracles, and in a hypocritical twist, reject all other forms of magic.  Xorem is the original homeland of the race of Dragons that once roamed Ashtar, though their lands have been reduced to the diminutive region of Auld Draconia, where the Dragons have established their own sovereign nation-state in an attempt to preserve the remnants of their species. Home to the fabled School of Magic often dubbed "The Avalis Escholaria" after the island chain that was once called Avalon from where the land supporting the floating school was torn from, in defiance of the theocracy of the Xoremi government.

Capital: Fhan Tai

Mecusor
-A land still entering its renaissance, left in the shadow of its neighbor, Xorem. They are separated from Xorem by a narrow straight. Before the Great Elenthriel War, the continent was separated into two regions, Shentereo and Kelderia. The Rondorius province was established later. A cultural melting pot of both medieval-religious reign and scientific progression, it is a veritable pinnacle of a pilgrimage site for many scholars and sorcerers, as nearly all schools of thought and philosophies are welcome there, (exceptions of course being necromancy and several smaller sodomy cults). The royal family has eventually developed an affinity for more republican nature of governing, establishing a council of governors elected by the people themselves to advise them.

Capital: Shento

So this is a full Redux of my entire world's map, the original being here:

I can't believe it's been four years already. I had to overhaul some of the lore and readjust some scaling between continents.
This got a lot more fantasy-political than I had expected, but hey, I had fun with it.

The timeline goes from R.V., to Year Zero being the Great Elenthriel War, and later than that being S.V.E.. The First Yovagonde Crossing takes place on R.V. 7322-7326.

I'll post some closer views of the maps soon.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to make the map?

Drew it all in Paint Tool SAI by hand and used Paint.net to type the words.
