(hoho bet you didn't think I'd actually continue it ;D)Atoya dropped to her knees and wrapped her arms around the trembling toki both to comfort the small creature and herself. What they'd seen was horrific. The young handler worried she'd never be able to scrub the image from her mind.
Beside them, the wild Tokota lifted his muzzle and howled in both warning and loss. His pack would be in danger from whatever had done this and many wilds were familiar with the human's staple Tokotas. The black toko did not know this one's name but he'd seen his face before. His gentle nature suggested that the one who'd killed it would take their lives as well should it find them.
