I have always thought that my cousin Katie is one of the most beautiful people I have ever and will ever see. She gave me permission to paint her, and here she is.I tried some different techniques this time. First I did very exaggerated textures and then I did a new layer with a Gaussian blur to soften it all. I like the look.
Hand painted, this is not a photo manipulation.
EDIT: Moved to scraps because I don't think it's good enough to be in my main gallery.

It looks very beautiful, both your model and your work. What I personally think its missing is a back light to give a bit of glow on the hair and a rim of reflected light around the head. You have a great eye for skin tones and the skin texture looks very nice. Great work!

Yeah, I did sneak in some rim lighting on her face but it's very very subtle but I could see how that would make it pop more. I usually do have some side lighting of some sort.
