This is an awesome tutorial although I may have some trouble with certain parts like where to sew

What length faux fur do you buy for all your heads?

Depends on the look I want, I use all lengths.

I buy from about six different sites. This should help you: fursuit.livejournal.com/profil…

This is really helpful! I can't wait to make one again especially with a tutorial like this with slideshow panels to help those of us who need both pictures and video tutorials to help. This sort of inbetween style definitely helped me figure out something that I muffed up during my first fursuit. That thing was horrid looking and hardly a fursuit, but isn't everyone's first one problematic? Anyway thanks so much for taking the time to show how you go about furring a head, I feel more educated about how it's supposed to be done and will check out your video uploads for more information when the time comes. Keep up the good work!

Excellent Tutorial!!!! I LOVE IT!

A little question. My fursona has little spots on the markings like the deep blue ones on this head. How did you made them? You cut each hole on the white fur and put the blue spots? Or you just glued the blue spots over the white fur (Although I don't think this will look good hahahaha)?

I must say, I really enjoyed your tutorial!

I'm a fairly experienced fursuit builder as it is, but I love to see how others make theirs and you've given me a couple of new ideas/techniques that I might give a try. It's certainly a very helpful tutorial for any new builders, and I really feel there's not enough of those around - especially that are of an excellent quality but not using processes that people who are inexperienced will not be able to understand or execute themselves.

The Gifs are used really well too! The only issue some people may have is that the photo quality is quite low in places - I assume that's to accommodate for the gif.

So yeah, thank you very much for this - I'm very impressed (:
