Description
Even the brightest of stars can fall astray. This is Aria. A former Angel whose wings have been distorted to always remind her of what she lost. (Why does every story have to have a happy ending?)While I was on vacation, I took some time to work on some new body art pieces. The white "paint" on her body is one of the new patterns I created. I like how the pattern turned out so I will probably use the same technique to make more patterns like this.

The reason stories have to have happy endings is often because they get better money.
Unless it's in a movie that isn't an adaptation of a book or game.

Very cool, love the skin-pattern. I'm wishing I had a clue how to start creating my own. I've got PSP8 but I have no real clue how to USE it.

very nice max. I like what you did with the skin map. The dual horns is a great touch and that is very cool use of the Archon Wings prop (Thats what it looks like anyways)

Yep. It is the Archon Wings. I got the strange idea to turn them upside down and I liked the effect.

Wow...very nice! The fallen angel is of course a theme that's been done many times before but I like how you've chosen to approach it here. I like her horns and her overall design (restricting the body paint to only one half of her helps reinforce her (perhaps) conflicted personality/soul). Lastly, this doesn't look it was created in any 3D art program - it looks like a real life 3D figure/sculpture...especially those fancy resin Japanese figures that sell for over $200. Well done!

Thanks! i do like the comment that is more than the one liner. ( Although I am guilty of the one liners myself *sigh* )
I use code I wrote for an advanced lighting engine. Sometimes it works better than others. I don't think it will ever make these models look human, but getting them to look like figurines is good enough for me!

Haven't you ever seen someone smile just before his/her whole world collapses? (Kinda disturbing when you think about it.... )

I gotta say, the horns on her head look a little bit "pasted" on, but as for the rest of her; Beautifully done!
The wings have a very interesting look. I like it, so, well done. Well done indeed.

The horns were then one thing I didn't like. They clip with the hair model. hence, the look pasted on. I haven't figured a good way to work around this yet....

She has wings coming out of her butt? LOLOLOL That is twisted, but cool! LOLOLOL The paint work is very good and distinctive. Like to see more it!

They actually come out of the small of her back where the tail originates.
I was originally going to do a front/back shot like I do with the Viera, but the wings were just screwing everything up. I'm happier with this version anyway.
Now to finish some of those other body paints I've been working on.....
