Description
*update* The problem with Kayla's bangs clipping on her visor has been fixed.Kayla
Blood Type: AB
Height: 5’1”
Origin: Great Britain
Kayla is on the left. She is blind and totally dependent on her cybernetic implants to support her vision. These same implants have special targeting software that makes her an expert in long range weapons. Like her fighting style, she tends at keeping distance in personal relations.
Sil
Blood Type: A
Height: 5’2”
Origin: Japan
Sil is on the right. Her mode of operation is close range combat tactics. She could use a good attitude adjustment., but high aggression comes in handy for her line of work.
Ramone
Blood Type: O
Height: 5’8”
Origin: USA
Ramone is the gentlemen in the center. He is a communications and electronics specialist. His outgoing personality is constantly put to the test keeping Sil and Kayla from killing each other.
-------------------------------------
*gasp* Is that a guy down in the center? Oh well, gotta try something different every now and then. I thought is would be interesting to try out a team like scene for a change. It was a fun little cel-rendering project.

It is the hand maiden hair. I bought it over at Daz3D a while back. It is one of my favorites, but it is a pretty specialized hair style. I have also used it in this piece as well. [link]

This is very cool. You know, I don't normally like 3D type works such as this, but you really have a way of making it a pleasurable experience. Thank you!
I shall watch.

Thank you! I have been trying hard to make these types look less like 3D and more like traditional art. I even got kicked out of the 3D area once. Thanks for the watch. I'll try to keep it up.

Great as always... ^_^
though I hope you'll be doing the "normal" 3D once in a while... I like it even more. *grin*

Looks good, what'd you do in order to vary the line thickness in certain parts along a stroke?

The cel rendering part creates the uniform lines, but I play games with angle-of-incidence material to define a very small region near the edges that is black. This is the part that makes the lines look like they vary in thickness.

I think I saw the movie a very long time ago. The blade like antennae seems to be a common theme across a lot of Anime though.

Doh! I really do need an art editor.... I was going to pull her bangs out to prevent that. Looks like I forgot...

That's a very nice trio and toon shading, great job! Who wouldn't want to work with women who dress like that for work?

I tried working with 2 lights this time to give some extra depth. I like how it turned out.

I think Poser toon shading needs about 2 lights to avoid the pesky shadows in the wrong places. ^^
