Very nice. You really need to advance this technique - its very promising

And remember to use the highest possible quality stocks/photos you can, as everything deteriorates with post-work when using photographs (at least averaged sized photos, anyway)

of course I'll take that technique further, I really like the results I get with it.

You also need to remember about using low ISO, with high values you'll get much digital noise on the photo.

And be careful with jpg compression - best if you can use .RAW files.

Aye, too many people think that cameras take photos in .jpg :S

You should put that stuff in the tut, you'd sound dead professional

Awesome. I tried some of the steps before the tut but the results were very bad. Anyway I will try it now

You know, I never would have thought of doing it THAT way. I see many use clouds for nebulae before, but the method is different and often results in something that still just looks like regular clouds given fancy colours

I rarely go out and photography my own, But Coincidentally, I was out about a weeks ago taking dozens of sky-shots because the weather was great for it...The clouds were detailed, and the sky itself was a much deeper shade of blue than usual which helped make the clouds stand out more

I have already taken hundreds of sky photos, many of them are panoramic shots composed from several photos. And I'm the lucky one - since August I live on a ninth floor in a building on a hill. And it's almost city suburbs and there is no high buildings nearby, so I have a clear sky view You can see some of my sky panoramas used in Temples of the Giant and City of the Spheres
