This is pretty much my problem with the new Clone Wars show (outside of the weak animation).We know Anakin turns out to be a bad bad dude, and eventually he’ll massacre the Jedi. So it’s impossible to accept him as the hero of his own show. At least with the original Clone Wars (sooo good!) and in the new trilogy (sooo meh!), we didn’t know EXACTLY how he would end up being Vader.

The thing that killed the new trilogy was Anakin's lame actor, and bad writing.
Seriously, cut off one Jedi's hand, watch him die, and have a pregnant wife you're worried will die and you fall to the dark side, bull.
I was expecting something more sinister, like the kids and all were already born, Sidious goes and kills Padme and blames the Jedi, Anakin loses it as a result and goes on to be Vader, that would have made more sense.

Man the first clone wars was so so SO SWEET, I drooled over the Grievous kickassage, I was watchign this and... I was 30 minutes into the movie and... somehow I felt like I was watching a 20 minute cartoon you know? It just wasn't mature enough to be a full length movie. Bad script and everything. For shame. The Clone wars miniseries was perfect - short, epic. Gennedy Tratakowsky FTW.

The show is sooo bad, but it gives me a chance to insert comments like this every time Anakin does something heroic. "Why bother saving her, you're probably going to be the one who puts a lightsaber through her chest." or "Hey, who ordered a #66?"

This makes me think. Since I saw clone wars I've been thinking about what happens to Ahsoka. I liked her, but I'm almost certain that she'll be killed, by Vader or anyone from the empire.

I have to disagree with you- I like it. The fact that that he was a hero makes all those things he did as a bad guy hit you emotionally. That's sort of the point.
What most people are hating about Clone Wars is change. They want more of the same, but if it were given to them they'd complain about it being unoriginal.

I actually have a Star Wars horror story in mind that revolves around Ahsoka's death at the hands of Darth Vader. In it, Ahsoka spent her time running from the Empire by honing her Force abilities. She became so in tune with it that she used it as a sort of fail safe in case she was killed by Vader. If her former master killed her, the Force energy she suppressed would be released in the form of a dark curse that would haunt the planet she was killed on. Ahsoka was killed on the moon of Sulon (which is also the homeworld of Kyle Katarn) and every year her curse, fueled by her newfound hatred for her old master, engulfs the planet for ten days, starting from the day of her death, and turns it into a living hell. The story is set after Kyle Katarn's first year at the Imperial Academy, when he returns home just before the day the curse starts. He finds that his father has taken in an abandoned young girl named Akosha Onat, who is actually the physical manifestation of the remaining good in Ahsoka. The curse is new to her, and she finds that she is the one most affected by it, haunted by her other self, Dark Ahsoka. Meanwhile, Kyle finds that the people of Sulon have not taken kindly to his new half-sister and some even want to kill her, thinking that, as the likeness of Ahsoka, killing her would break the curse. Kyle must protect her for ten days, and help her discover the origin and reality of the curse; that Ahsoka isn't really the enemy, but the victim.

Yeah, i like the other Clone Wars too. One good thing about it though, is that they made Yoda act more like he does in the original films, wise and funny, not smart and serious.

The animation takes some getting used to...its the sequence of showing that probably sets this one back. (some stories work well out of sequence...this one seems to miss it a bit)
note: not all the Jedi were killed directly by Anakin...some were done off world by the drones?

LOL! i work in the toy section of a departemnt store, and i have been putting up heaps of clone wars toys over the last few weeks, and then, when i get a chance to go to the movies, clone wars had allready stopped showing....i saw wall-e instead(awesome movie) i really want to see clone wars, despite the bad reviews,

i agree plus you see this deepening connection he has with her it just bothers me that he has a padawan and you know he'll slaughter her in the end unless she escaped and is an unknown jedi who escaped it just eeeh erks me to no end it's hard to enjoy the series because of what we know in episode 3 so maybe this story was best told before the last movie.

Well, if it still disturbs you, just do like me; form your own Micro-Continuity in which he doesn't become Vader, saves all the Jedi, kills Palpatine (Or, if that's too inhumane, simply make him go to a Quintesson trial), becomes President of the Galaxy, and you marry his pretty female Padawan (Bricked for the last part)
