Now while I much prefer Wonder Woman's standard look (which I'm sure will be back with one year TOPS), I gotta admit that - I LOVE 90'S SUPERBOY! At least his look is uniquely his, and much more interesting that his current design. Jeans and a black t-shirt with an S-logo on it...is that even a costume??

I actually liked the 90's Superboy costume, looked freaking cool. Think they should incorporate it into Smallville. Also saw the Wonder Woman redesign, looks good. Not really a problem for me, finally i won't get distracted when the heroines fight.

there was also the Elseworlds tale were batman and superman grouw up together and are rasied by three of the Legion of Superheros enemies. It was in batman and superman Worlds Finest though I could be wrong about that. she wore a custume that looked a lot like this new one except it was better designed.

Wonder Woman's new "look" seriously SUCKS, and is just an example of DC caving to assumed "political correctness". So what if the image has become an icon in it's own right, let's just toss to make people who won't even bother reading comics happy.

THe only two characters who can get away with costume changes are Batman and Iron Man

It's a pretty standard tactic for DC and Marvel. Basically you change of kill a character for the sole purpose of bringing them back (see Batman, Captain America recently)

LOL. I like '90s Superboy as well; he just had a very unique personality and voice. Completely how Supes himself would be if he had grown up in the '90s. Are there any trades of his series? Does anyone know?
As for the costume, I like it. I really do. I agree with JMS; Wonder Woman needed an update. She needed to be made relateable. This was the best way to do it.

I dunno...DC's been working pretty hard to revamp WW. The new origin and the costume are meant to cement an almost rebirth (Superman's got one too...except no new costume). I don't think they'd throw away their hard work. They're good changes too. not shitty last minute ones. PLUS! I think it's a good change. It's about time she got an update from what was BARELY a swimsuit (fucking iconic though)...clearly inspired by the American Flag (strange considering the respective origin). It's good to see a modern WW without the need to show off skin (not that I complained. But girls need to wear clothes too). She looks good. I think it's just the jacket...there's barely any similarity elsewhere...

90's Superboy was a fun character though, he was pretty much anti-angst. This version of Wonder Woman? Not so much.

hmmmm interesting take on it all. sadly i never really much cared for the look of superboy he always made me want to hit him especialy with the terminator-ish superman went on vigilante killings i always wanted him to not just beat the snot out of superboy but just kill him in general as i wanted him to do to all the supermen who came about in the aftermath of the marketing ploy that was "the death of superman." in which not even death can kill superman -yawn really d.c. i love supes and all but not even death can kill him please marketing genious who though that was a great idea please die and not comeback in future issues.-
yeah i'm still a bit sour to d.c. after that whole debacle.
